ECS is seeking a Project Manager to work in our New York City, NY office or Remote.

Job Description:

ECS is seeking a passionate and driven Project Manager support an IT Services program for our customer located in New York City, NY.

We are looking for a Project Manager who:

• Develops schedules, coordinates, tracks, and manages projects for a variety of simultaneous initiatives of varying sizes
• Supports cross-functional project teams consisting of application development, IT operations, and information security teams
• Documents and tracks project changes, risks, and issues through resolution
• Works alongside developers to determine level of effort
• Regularly meets with stakeholders to identify and document business, functional, and technical requirements
• Communicates changes to requirements and projects to all stakeholders
• Prepares and tracks project finance's, while also projecting future project resource burn rates
• Participates in interviewing and recruiting efforts to ensure the team is properly staffed to support ongoing development efforts.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent with relevant certifications
• 10-20 years of project management experience
• Experienced with presentation applications and tools such as Microsoft Office suite, (preferably Office 2016 and/or Office 365) PowerPoint, MS Project.
• Effective communicator
• Ability to translate conceptual requirements into business and functional requirements
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
• Experience managing projects across development lifecycles (analysis through implementation)
• Track record of successfully managing multiple projects of varying scope, size, and complexity
• Familiar with software or systems development lifecycles
• Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize competing requirements

Desired Skills:

• PMP Certification
• Self-starter who can quickly acclimate to a fast-paced environment
