Job Description Summary
The Project Engineer (PE) will work alongside Project Managers to plan, manage and execute projects. He / she will be responsible for administering projects with direction from Project Managers and will organize project teams to ensure that projects are executed in alignment with goals and deliverables defined by client KPI's.
Job Description

Operations

  • Create and manage RFP, follow up with any RFIs, and coordinate site walks between vendors / client / involved teams with project.
  • Review and approve Task Order.
  • Manage communication between all Teams for projects to ensure work is being completed safely and efficiently.
    • ex: IFM / Space / Landscaping / Security
  • Manage ticket creation / communication for project execution while documenting process to ensure that best practices can be passed down.
    • ex: Security / Pick plan submission & HW Permit
  • Understand the objective of the project, provide corresponding photos for each phase of the entire project and file in the PM drive folders.
  • Review closeout package for completion.
  • Establish systems and processes to increase communication, efficiency, and collaboration between all Teams involved.

Financials
  • Understand scope of work to bid and manage incoming RFP's / proposals from all vendors
  • Complete understanding of the budget including general oversight on capex invoices to match scope against TO.
  • Review & approve accrual.

25%
  • Develop, create and streamline processes.
  • Including but not limited to oversight of PM SmartSheet, program documents and other interrelated project files.
Administrative
  • Strategic meeting creation and calendar organization.
    • Inclusive to all Teams that need to be coordinated
  • Meeting minute recording, organizing, and filing.
  • Coordinating / meeting vendors onsite for building access.
  • Management of communication processes.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to apply the following skills:
    • Interpersonal - effective verbal and written communication skills, resolves conflicts and effectively negotiates issue resolution, establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships, and displays strong facilitation skills.
    • Leadership- Proactively advocates and leads change, supports team building, recognizes contributions and celebrates accomplishments.
    • Professional - understands and executes corporate project management processes and industry best practices which include, but are not limited to, building and executing a project plan, monitoring and controlling project work, managing scope, managing resources, ensuring quality control, maintaining effective communication with team and all stakeholders, managing risk, and monitoring and controlling project costs.
  • Prior experience supporting Project Management responsibilities is preferred.
  • Experience/Familiarity with all Google software and organizational tools.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) and/or equivalent related experience.
