As Production Supervisor III you will be responsible for will be responsible for quality and quantity produced in production area. Fulfill the total amount of units to be built in accordance to the production plan. Further on control the workflow, checking the availability of materials, also coordinates the activities of multiple production departments to ensure safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping goals are obtained. Reporting directly to the Manager of Manufacturing/Operations. Participates in New Products Introduction process.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager this position is based in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.

Major Accountability:

  • Responsible for quality and quantity produced in one or multiple production departments.
  • Ensure safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping goals are obtained.
  • Fulfill the total amount of units to be built in accordance to the production plan.
  • Participates in New Products Introduction.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate production activities, people, processes, and materials to complete production schedules according to process specifications
  • Direct workers as to handling the workflow
  • Direct multi-functions in manufacturing as well improvements for one or multiple departments
  • Ensure fulfill the total amount of units to be built in accordance to the production plan
  • Ensure accomplishment of SMS System as well promote safety behaviors
  • Checking the availability of materials
  • Supervises and mentoring of new supervisors

  • Bachelor's Degree in the engineering or similar field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years' experience or 9 years' experience in lieu of degree.
  • Good interpersonal skills to influence team members.
  • Six Sigma Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
