Responsible for the development of new and existing SUT products, the management of the SUT product portfolio, the monitoring of competitors product development and new technologies, the training of the technical sales force across the regions and interchange of technical knowledge across regions.

The PM SUT also is the Product Groups interface to STM Operations, Quality & A&T and ensures that all projects under development are technically feasible and have sufficient commercial potential.

Additionally, he/she supports the regional sales staff in building strategic partnerships with customers.

The PM SUT would also be part of the team driving forward a Semiconductor culture at the STM location.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Transfers customer needs into technical specifications and ensures technical feasibility.
  • Develops product ideas, product modifications and product adoptions.
  • Monitors customers, competitors and their specific technical requirements.
  • Secures product specific application knowledge across all Segments.
  • Interface between A&T, Operations, Quality and SCM.
  • Project Coordinates and attends product related A&T activities
  • Ensures SUT project timelines are maintained.
  • Part of the Semiconductor culture project implementation team
  • Trains and develops Regional Segment Managers and Field Sales Managers and secures the Product-line specific technical knowledge transfer between the regions.
  • Participates in global SUT product-line team.
Your Profile:

  • Bachelor degree in a technical field (engineering, chemistry, physics, etc.); Master's degree preferred.
  • Expert knowledge on Semiconductor industry.
  • Working understanding of financial concepts
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to integrate regional teams from different cultures
  • Managing external partners (suppliers, universities/institutes)
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Microsoft office products, SAP proficiency preferred.
