Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a Product Implementation Manager who is responsible for implementing new or modified healthcare insurance products and services in keeping with contractual obligations to State and Federal regulatory agencies within the defined product cycles. This individual will proactively work to remove barriers, work collaboratively with business owners to operationalize product designs as well as ensure operational readiness when implementing a new product.

To be considered for this opportunity, you have the following:

Experience: 2 years' (for level I) or 4 years' (for level II) product implementation, product lifecycle, or project coordination/management experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Here's what your day may look like:

  • Collaborate across multiple departments in the product implementation process. Partner with cross functional areas to find opportunities to integrate systems, process, and people resources with third-party applications.
  • Analyze report-based analytics to identify insights on relative products, programs, solutions, and/or services success and design.
  • Design and support execution of appropriate product and program-related evaluation metrics.
  • Manage product implementation, operational and system readiness, change management, training, and testing for assigned product family.
  • Deliver and document implementation of programs, products, and services from ideation to product launch to portfolio management.
  • Consult with key team members to capture detailed customer requirements and works with other areas to define the best implementation practices, ensures governance regarding design decisions, policy, and procedures.
  • Act as a resource for the company for operational, clinical, contractual, and/or regulatory issues. Act as the product technical and business advocate, handling issues that may arise.
  • Train staff and end users to use the product, service, or application.
  • Establish collaborative working relationships with and direct cross-functional project teams.
  • Lead product implementation with both internal departments and external resources.
  • Develop and interpret policies, procedures, service standards, and workflows to support the consistent application of practices across the functional area and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage organizational resistance to cross functional project demands; employing project management tools and technologies.
