As our Prebilling Supervisor your primary responsibilities will be to supervise the Prebilling team by ensuring that the weekly and monthly exception files are worked, account maintenance is performed and to oversee the process of monthly billing cycle adjustment files. This individual will plan, direct, supervise and evaluate work flow for a group of Prebilling Analysts, as well as provide coaching and mentoring, helping them increase their efficiency in the processes they support. This individual will be expected to work closely with their team and other managers to implement process improvements.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*

* Develop and maintain Billing Operations processes and standards
* Provide direct reports with clearly defined expectations, assigning work/tasks appropriately, providing feedback to track analystsa performance and assuring progress toward goals/objectives is made
* Identify global issues at the Payor level, analyzing trends and presenting to management potential solutions
* Implement strategies to continually improve the department performance
* Assist in the interviewing, selection, and training of new personnel and assess the learning curve of the Prebilling Analysts via progress tracking
* Ensure all bad debt adjustments are processed before month-end within the established guidelines.
* Manage the authorization requests ensuring they are received before expiration and ensure all eligibility is checked on all non-automated accounts.
* Supervise a staff of Analysts including developing Key Responsibility Areas, conducting performance evaluations approving time cards and tracking attendance
* Other duties as assigned
*QUALIFICATIONS*
*Education: * Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience
*Experience* :

* Minimum 2 years of experience in billing systems support in a personal emergency response, DME, healthcare or telecommunication preferred
* Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team of 8 or more employee required
*Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:*

* Computer skills including typing and prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel
* Proficient knowledge and use of Microkey software preferred
