Primary Purpose:
The Policy and Advocacy Coordinator (Children Services) supports a dynamic, forward thinking, mission-centered Advocacy Team. The position follows the lead of the Director of Policy and Advocacy in strategic engagement with Congress and the Administration to advance policy related to children’s issues, particularly for unaccompanied children. This position works closely with the Advocacy Team, and national, state, and local partners to impact in moving our policy and advocacy goals at the national, state, and local levels. This position is responsible for implementing policy priorities and strategy and works in coordination with grassroots and national partner organizations and coalitions across the country.
