JOB SUMMARY:

Ensures efficient and timely completion of daily material flow throughout the plant, completing daily instructions in a safe and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • The ability to "set-up" plasma torch with correct consumables.
  • The ability to use overhead crane to load and unload plasma tables.
  • Use CNC controller station to access jobs from server.
  • Clean slag from parts.
  • Verifies parts counts against nestings/parts lists.
  • Measures parts for conformance specifications including material sizes.
  • Marks parts with proper part numbers per cut lists.
  • Ability to adjust settings to achieve proper dimensions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Parts production experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail, self-starter.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • CNC controller station skills, experience in setting up and operating CNC plasma cutting tables.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.


REQUIRED SKILL/ QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screen
