Description: Our client is currently seeking a PACKAGING SPECIALIST in the Chicago area.
The Packaging Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end execution of packaging projects and daily tasks relevant to the development of local industrial new packaging development briefs and activities. This position serves as a first touch point for all the area activities across products, categories and brands in support to the leadership departments.
Responsibilities:
• Leads the roll out of the packaging projects for the North America region, in line with the Group requirements and guidelines
• Manages the implementation of industrial solutions ensuring structural performance, cost improvements, food safety and plant complexity management
• Explores and develops new packaging technologies to support innovative packaging design through partnerships with leading edge suppliers
• Ensures technical documentation through the creation of technical drawings and technical data sheets in accordance with the guidelines of the Packaging Department.
Experience- 5 years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Science or related field
• Project management and experience with Flexi Form Suppliers.
