How you will make contributions that matter...

• Mentor and coach all line employees on company safety policies and procedures (i.e. Lockout Tagout, Proper Lifting Techniques, Proper Knife Handling Techniques, MSDS, etc.), and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Assure the type and quality of cheese being used matches the customer specifications, food safety & quality standards, and efficiency standards through product inspections.
• Support the Production Supervisor in coordinating production requirements and employees for one production line (3-14 employees).
• Communicate with scheduling regarding the status of the line and concerns for items due and not completed.
• Neatly, accurately, and legibly maintain all records and documentation for the line.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all equipment on the line.
• Ensure proper training of employees new to the line.
• Communicate hand-offs with the Line Lead on the opposite shift on a daily basis to ensure maximum productivity, quality, and safety is met for the line.
• Other duties as required by management.

You are best suited for the role if you...

• Recent leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to train others in both one-on-one and group settings.
• Able to remain objective an react consistently and fairly in all situations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with team members and all necessary departments.
• Able to understand production schedules and production specifications.
• Able to stand/walk ten hours each shift or as needed.
