As a Data Services Specialist I, (this is an entry-level position) you will help ADP across select areas of business by coupling your positive attitude with a desire to learn to ensure smooth functioning of activities and processes.

 

In this role, you will spend your day performing basic clerical, administrative and office support activities for one or more supervisors in Human Resources, Sales, or other departments.  You will efficiently follow standardized formats and established internal procedures.  All this while assisting our team on ensuring an enhanced overall client experience.  Our top ranked training will help set you up for success.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:Responsibilities  

  

What you can expect on a typical day: 

 

  • Create and Execute.You will create spreadsheets, presentations, and other documents, as well as, complying with current standardized and established internal procedures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Proactively Communicate.You will communicate and coordinate basic clerical, administrative and office support activities for one or more supervisors in Human Resources, sales, or other departments.  This can include schedule management; arrange appointments, travel, meetings, conference calls, screen calls and greet visitors.  Coordinate activities between departments and outside parties.
  • Organization and Delivery. You will organize correspondence and email; respond to requests for information, file, and fax. Assemble and compile basic data from established sources as directed.
  • Learn and Grow.You will receive training at ADP and as part of your job, you must stay up to date on new and existing procedures at ADP. You should continue to update your knowledge through available resources and in return be encouraged to grow and develop further as a professional. 

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:Required Qualifications  

  • You should have at least 1 year of experience working a service-oriented role.
  • Superb organizational skills
  • You can work overtime hours during peak seasons  
  • Ability to handle confidential matters

  

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:  

  • Experience noted above OR 
  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.  

BONUS POINTS FOR THESE:Preferred Qualifications 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to produce high quality reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
