A Nationwide Healthcare Collaborator is seeking a Network Engineering Manager in Doral, FL or Remote.

Role Description

• Assist users achieve optimum use of their computer networks by performing needs analysis, procurement support, installation, training, and problem resolution for internal and external customers.
• Analyze users' needs, recommend appropriate network configurations to meet users' needs and departmental standards.
• Review LAN/WAN/Wifi/VoIP assessments for member centers and implement necessary changes, adhering to HCN standards and industry best practice.
• Configure, implement and maintain firewalls, switches, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email security.
• Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
• Ensuring daily operations of the multi-protocol, multi-vendor network to ensure data network availability.
• Use network management systems to review, monitor, analyze and troubleshoot the operation of data network devices and circuits
• Perform preventative and fault isolation maintenance on the networks, servers, domains, electronic post offices, and user files.
• Create and execute changes to the data network using industry standard change control practices.
• Document requests clearly and thoroughly through our ticketing systems.
• Work closely with all IT teams to display continuous service and support to member centers.
• Prepare regularly scheduled reports for supervisor.
• Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information.
• Keep current on new developments and techniques in information technology.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for afterhours and weekend support.

Skills & Requirements

• 8+ years of Cisco Networking Engineering experience in an enterprise environment(s)
• Must possess very strong routing & switching experience and proficiency
• Must possess experience operating as a lead / mentoring less experienced Engineers
• Prior experience w/ cloud networking solutions (Azure) strongly preferred
• Prior wireless networking experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience w/ SD-WAN preferred
• Minimum of CCNA Certification preferred
