What You Will Be Doing The MEP Project Manager/ Coordinator acts as the liaison between Owner, Estimating, Operations, and the subcontracted A/E firm(s). The MEP Project Manager/ Coordinator will stay involved in the project to the point where routine checks and/or advice may be needed on design/intent or deviations from design scope.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Employ a broad knowledge of each discipline and be able to effectively direct professional engineers during design development Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical.
- Establish delineation of work in the preparation of drawings and specifications as well as coordinate areas of conflict and overlapping work scopes.
- Coordinate design of phased construction and ensure that all design/build partners are working off consistent and current backgrounds, design parameters, scope requirements, etc.
- Develop and manage the project design schedule and assist in developing bid package documents, writing work scopes, and writing contract documents.
- Verify all design/build partners are following the Client's drawing and specification standards throughout the design phases. Become knowledgeable with all Client provided 2D and 3D graphic standards and procurement policies where required for those specific projects.
- Perform quality assurance/quality control checks on progress drawings and specifications and ensure that the Client's design intent is integrated into the IFC documents.
- Facilitate and manage weekly on-site engineering meetings as well as milestone design reviews with the Client and all design/build engineering partners. The EC shall maintain the engineering meeting minutes, open issues log, and any other pertinent documents and upload them to Sage and distribute to the team within two days of the meeting.
- Facilitate and manage periodic on-site breakout design meetings, column coordination meetings, etc. and include Client's process engineers where required.
What You Need for this Position - Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University in the field of Construction, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field.
- 3+ years' experience working in the construction or A/E industry.
- Expertise and passion for engineering management, leadership, design development, collaboration, and self-development.
- Ability to negotiate contract changes and fees with subcontractors.
- Broad knowledge of each engineering discipline and a strong knowledge of construction means and methods.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- LEED Accredited Professional.
- Knowledge of Revit.
