Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

Cradlepoint is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our product marketing team to assist in marketing the Secure 5G/LTE WAN Edge products. The Marketing Intern will perform a variety of tasks to help augment the team's efforts, provide marketing content consistency, and make recommendations for improving content performance. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Product Marketing. A successful candidate will have sufficient experience in marketing to enhance marketing copy, and a desire to understand IT networking and B2B marketing. If you are a passionate, curious self-starter, this is the perfect role for you. Remote work opportunity.

What Will You Do?

  • Gain basic competence in product marketing messaging for the Secure 5G/LTE WAN Edge products
  • Perform audits of content across the entire WAN Edge portfolio messaging boards, collateral, and web content to ensure up-to-date messaging
  • Maintain a list of customers by top categories to cultivate customer references
  • Convert relevant data into insights for actionable recommendations for the Product Marketing team

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two plus (2+) years of college or university-level education in Marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to audit, organize and write marketing content
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Prior work or class experience writing marketing copy, managing projects
  • Ability to achieve results without supervision

Bonus Points:
  • Understanding of SEO, methods to improve web page performance
  • Comprehension of IT Networking for the WAN
