Pottstown Hospital is a 219-bed, acute care hospital offering an extensive range of services, including inpatient and outpatient, medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatric, diagnostic, and emergency care, as well as primary care, family practice, and pediatric offices. Responsibilities
The Manager of Emergency Preparedness is responsible for oversight, implantation of policies, protocols, and procedures of the emergency management program. Prepares for, responds to and recovers from events that impact the hospital. Manages the implementation of national standards, regulations and codes including Department of Health and The Joint Commission. Implements facility level education, plans and delivers exercises and drills and manages the maintenance and inventory of facility emergency management disaster equipment. Hospital representative on local, regional, state emergency preparedness committees. Collaborate with other agencies, including but not limited to Emergency Medical Services, fire departments, Limerick Generating Station. Chairs the Emergency Management Committee Environment of Care Committee. Manages EOC rounding.
