General Description of Position:

 

Responsible for positioning Hargray Commercial as a market/product leader, and developing and executing marketing programs and campaigns that deliver leads, exceed sales goals, and maximize the return on marketing dollars invested. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Commercial Sales Leaders to drive sales, revenue and units through chamber partnerships, events, sponsorships, and in-market advertising.
  • Responsible for Chamber relationships in the Hargray footprint.
  • Plans and cross-functionally executes traditional marketing campaigns such as print and direct mail to create sales leads and brand awareness.
  • Creates marketing briefs for internal or external creative development of collateral, advertising, and direct marketing.
  • Works with Product Management to develop messaging and value propositions for the Commercial suite of products
  • Responsible for content on hargray.com/business product and market web pages.
  • Develops email and outreach plans and tactics for Sales Teams
  • Develops content, as needed, to help improve marketing funnel and Sales Outreach.
  • Evaluates performance of the marketing campaigns and tactics and adjusts as needed.
  • Manages and optimizes campaign/tactic budgets.
  • Works with Sales Operations or outside vendors to refine and clean the direct mail database.
  • Develops area-specific campaigns to help drive additional sales to businesses close to Hargray fiber footprint.
  • Manages a Field Marketing Specialist
  • Manages the Field Marketing Budget and allocates budget across all sales areas

 



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline required, MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibility in marketing roles. Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with deep experience planning, implementing, and optimizing direct marketing campaigns
  • Experience in working and developing programs in conjunction with sales leadership
  • Demonstrated budget management experience
  • Demonstrated success in managing a complex workload with multiple priorities and tight deadlines with a focus on measuring results and improving performance.
  • Experience in direct-buy advertising preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing analysis and insight development
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Preferred management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
