Your Role:

As a Maintenance Supervisor in Allentown, PA, you will be responsible for all maintenance functions necessary to ensure efficient site operation of the distribution center.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Maintain and organize all facility-related maintenance and third-party service contracts (i.e., alarm, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, pest control, security, etc.).
  • Establish schedules.
  • Identify resource needs, track reliability of equipment throughout the site.
  • Review needs with appropriate management staff; allocate resources accordingly.
  • Make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards.
  • Follow policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and control supplies and equipment.
  • Train or coordinate training in facility.
  • Coordinate construction projects, remodels, and other special projects
  • Takes ownership of safety processes; performs maintenance safety program audits (Lockout/Tag out, Confined Space, Fall Protection, PPE, mobile equipment, etc.)

This position may include weekend and holiday on call and after-hours duty on a variety of all shifts.

Physical Attributes:
  • Walking, standing, reaching above the shoulders
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, and use of hands to operate tools and equipment
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and additional weight with assistance
  • Utilize close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Wearing a hard hat, safety shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, a safety harness, protective clothing, and gloves

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial, or other technical discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance technician, or construction
Or
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance technician, or construction
  • 1+ years of experience in supervisory role

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma concepts and OSHA knowledge
  • Previous supervisor experience
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • 3+ years' experience using Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & Outlook)
