SUMMARY: LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Under the supervision of the Logistics Manager, this position's primary responsibility is ordering, managing, and tracking shipments and returns associated with servicing Interface customers. Additionally, the position supports Interface field personnel, ensuring they have the parts and materials required to service the Interface customer base.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support warehouse and logistics needs of Interface
    • Box, label, and ship parts orders
    • Process and track inbound shipments
  • Track and resolve shipping, warehouse, and carrier shipping errors.
  • Conduct inventory counts as assigned.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Excel & Word, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work well within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-directed, with the ability to operate independently of regular direct supervision.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • 2 plus years of experience
  • High school diploma, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

The employee must frequently lift objects up to 30 pounds that could include company materials, files, and small equipment. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in order to view reports, computer screens, forms, and operating manuals.

Work is performed indoors in a fluorescent-lit workspace at the employer's office.
