Job Summary
The Loan Transfer Servicing Lead plays a key role on the Service Transfer team and has the responsibility to ensure all required operational tasks occur timely and accurately to ensure a smooth and compliant service transfer, satisfying regulatory and new servicer requirements and making the transfer as seamless as possible for the customer.

Performance in this role will set our customers up for success by making sure we have their loan information transferred efficiently and seamlessly. The Loan Transfer Servicing Lead will perform various operational tasks, with a key focus on data ingestion or output, data integrity, mapping, gather service transfer requirements. requirements gathering, developing and implementing data reporting tools for service transfers IN or OUT.

This position works collaboratively with other Service Transfer, Loan Boarding, Servicing, Customer Engagement Business Units, MSR owners and with IT team members to ensure complete success and the data integrity and accuracy required of each and every service transfer IN or OUT. This position also monitors and has oversight of jobs performed by other service transfer team members, including report requests, data analysis, organizing and running meetings with internal and external partners, verification that critical daily assignments are accurately completed to facilitate successful transfers. Provides training and guidance to team members. This lead will also develop process user guides, workflow maps and/or procedures to aid in process control and will analyze existing work flows to seek out opportunities for process improvement.

Pay Range: $60,082.50 - $72,099.00 - $84,115.50

Pay Range: $47,500.00 - $67,500.00 - $87,500.00

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and respond timely to the Servicing Transfer mailbox, Service Now tickets, Salesforce tickets and OOTP complaints. Research and determine appropriate response.

Support team supervisor or manager with audits by participating in audit research, reviews, process overviews and requested documentation.

Assist with small transfers (1-10 loans) and follow all transfer processes and procedures. Engage in the due diligence review, data mapping exercises; identify and establish transfer requirements; confirm and verify transfer data integrity; identify, expedite and cure data exceptions; generate, analyze and review reports; deliver reports to client; prepare, import and verify data files into MSP; Oversee inbound/outbound service transfer tasks such as scheduling all transfer activities, tagging loans in MSP, attend meetings with transferee or transferor servicer, ordering transfer reports, maintaining or reviewing checklists to ensure all transfer activities are accomplished, provide required data to transferee or transferor servicer, participate in data mapping and data conversion sessions.

Monitor and run missing document report for bulk transfers. Contact transferor for missing documents and make sure they are uploaded to P8.

Process improvement initiatives; updating and creating procedures/User guides to support all transfers.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required in Information Systems or Business Administration (or 5 years comparable experience)
  • Expert skill level in Microsoft Access and Excel
  • 5 years of experience utilizing MSP servicing system, including the service transfer workstation, with a bachelor's degree OR
  • 5 years of comparable work experience in Mortgage Loan Servicing and/or Post Closing with working knowledge of service transfers both outgoing and incoming. Knowledge of key terms and functions specific to the mortgage loan life cycle and specifically to mortgage loan servicing transfers.
  • Strong working experience with MSP
  • Ability to quickly retain knowledge of new processes and procedures.
  • Proven adherence to data integrity and accuracy.
  • Expert skills in Microsoft Office -Excel, Access; proficiency in Word
  • Proven ability to analyze, and provide problem solutions.
  • Proven ability in collaborating with others.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt readily to change and move with ease from one task to another.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Experienced in problem solving and conflict resolution, accurate in execution, able to solve complex problems.
  • Travel up to 10%
  • The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting.
