GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

• • Originate and close loans that adhere to the quality standards of the Bank.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •Develop new and expand existing business to achieve the department's financial objectives.
• Perform all activities required to meet or exceed sales production goals outlined in the Loan Officer Incentive Program.
• Analyze cash flow of mixed-use/multifamily buildings and negotiate mortgage terms with brokers/owners for those who demonstrate repayment ability.
• Assist with and facilitate processing and closing activities on files in the loan pipeline, as requested from the underwriting and processing areas of the department.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with mortgage brokers and other referral sources such as accountants, attorneys, and prior clients of the Bank.
• Cross sell other Bank products.
• Provide consistent and optimum customer service to all clients by communicating clearly and thoroughly on the resolution of issues and recommending solutions.
• Support and reserve the operational integrity of the department and the bank by adhering to all policies and procedures of the Bank.

MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 3 to 5 years of Mortgage Lending experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Proficiency in mortgage lending criteria.
• Financial statement analysis skills and ability to interpret tax returns a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, personal computers and certain operations software and applications.
