The new product aims to enhance the functionality and user experience for micro businesses, helping them to better connect, trade, and grow within their communities. The Lead iOS Engineer will play a critical role in leading the development efforts and ensuring the successful delivery of this innovative product.
Your day to day-

Design and Development: Lead the design and development of advanced applications for the iOS platform. Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Architecture and Code Quality: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Collaborate with team members to define and adhere to coding standards and best practices.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative engineering culture.

Problem Solving: Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

User Experience: Work with designers to implement polished, user-friendly interfaces that delight our users.

Integration: Integrate with back-end services and third-party APIs. Ensure seamless integration of new features and functionalities.

What you need to bring--
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in iOS development, with a strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store.
- Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge of UI/UX standards and best practices.

Experience with SwiftUI and Combine: Familiarity with the latest iOS frameworks and tools.

Tools and Technologies: Experience with Xcode, Git, and other iOS development tools.

Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding and fixing issues.
