Summary:
The laboratory of Dr. Prasenjit Dey has an opening for a Laboratory Technician in the Department of Immunology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The laboratory is broadly interested in cytokine biology, cancer metabolism and cancer therapeutics. Successful candidate will pursue an ongoing project to understand cytokine mediated metabolic reprogramming in pancreatic tumor.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in a science-related field; or
2. Associate's degree in a science-related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time laboratory experience; or
3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time laboratory experience.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate should have laboratory work experience outside of the school environment; experience with cell culture or sterile systems; basic knowledge of immunology or cancer biology; ability to learn immunological assays such as ELISA or PCR; experience with diligent note taking and good written and oral communication.
