Overview
i3 is searching for a technical set-up artist skilled in rigging and animating to join our Virtual Training, Simulation, and Gaming team.Candidates will provide knowledge and experience in technical rigging and animation skills in real time using Autodesk Maya and Unity 3D. You should be able to demonstrate strong technical set-up, rigging, and animation skills forcomplex mechanical hard surface assets. You will work directly with supervisors, designers, engineers, and artists in the support and creation of interactive mobile, web and desktop trainers, serious games, and simulations.

Responsibilities
You should also haveknowledge and experiencein reading and translating technical information and conceptual ideas into high-end interactive multimedia applications. You will work with the 3D artists and Subject Mater Experts to plan set-up for hard surface mechanical rigging and animation. This will include the creation of proxy rigs, Unity Integration, controls and blend shapes, keyframe, tween, and create animation sets for real-time interactive 3D training. You must be able to work collaboratively with engineers and other artists on projects ensuring successful on-time delivery. Any MOCAP experience is always a plus.
It is required that yousubmit an onlineportfolio of your work with your application.The best portfolios typically displaya proficiency in creating clean mechanical rigging and animations for real-time pipelines.The desired portfoliowill show the utilization of clean Unity rigging and animation principles. We also recommend displaying a shot breakdown specifying your direct contributions.Include texture sets, wireframes, and clean renders of finished work in a real-time renderer is preferred.
