Rosen's Diversified, Inc. has an opportunity for an IT Security Analyst to join our rapidly growing Information Technology team in Green Bay, WI. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Security Incidents to ensure escalations and SLA are being addressed.
  • Investigate and triage security incidents
  • Develop, investigate, and advise on threat intelligence and vulnerabilities with respect to RDI systems.
  • Primary technical contact for potential Managed Detection/Response provider engagements.
  • Lead forensic analysis and fact gathering efforts.
  • Participate in a 24x7 security incident response on-call rotation.
  • Record and track IT security incidents.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our security processes.
  • Create and maintain Incident Response procedures.
  • Develop systems and processes to assist in testing and analyzing threats.
  • Provide technical knowledge in all aspects of Security Operations.
  • Take point on handling events such as identifying user security issues, extensive troubleshooting, and coordinating resolution using a variety of applications and testing tools.
  • Managing events including security breaches, threats, email, and account issues.
  • Provide high-level proactive technical support, including security configurations, security policy modification recommendation, and diagnostics of remote network security issues.
  • Monitor, use, and manage various security tools, review incidents to assess their urgency, and escalate incidents if necessary.
  • Present recommendations to leadership in a clear and professional manner to assist in informed decision making.
  • Follow security architecture standards, frameworks, and guidelines. Emphasize security best practices and ensure adoption across corporate solutions.
  • Participate in strategic planning as needed.
  • Will be responsible for leading and directing security related projects and project teams.
  • Write and approve functional requirements/specifications documents.
  • Assess vendor development/test strategies.
  • Compare proposed technical designs against AFG standards, industry best practices, etc. to ensure systems align with existing infrastructure, standards, skillsets, and security posture.
  • Evaluate final project outputs for success against project design and build baselines.
  • Leverage and follows the change management process.
  • Take ownership of in-scope systems, maintain the overall health and uptime to company requirements.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the security field.
  • Strong technical aptitude, creativity, and ability to research and solve complex issues.
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work both alone and within a team, within established standards.
  • Experience documenting, project tracking, and management reporting.
  • Experience with or exposure to appropriate systems and subject areas such as:
    • Authentication mechanisms (SAML, MFA, Kerberos, RADIUS, LDAP, TACACS).
    • Security tools: EDR, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, PAM.
    • Penetration testing/Threat hunting.
    • MITRE Attack Framework.
    • Security Standards and Frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOC2, GDPR, PCI).
    • Windows operating systems and Active Directory Domains
    • Infrastructure monitoring tools.
    • Certificates and PKI.
  • Fundamental understanding of Infrastructure systems such as:
    • VPN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, network segmentation, load balancers.
    • Virtualization Platforms: VMware, Nutanix HCI, Azure HCI, Hyper-V.
    • Server and Storage solutions: SANs, server hardware, backup systems.
    • IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, colocation facilities.
    • Public cloud environments: Azure, AWS.
    • ITAM processes.
  • Prior experience in DR / Business Continuity planning and exercises preferred.
  • Exposure to ITIL 2.0 framework preferred.
Education, Training, and Licenses:
  • Certification(s) in area of specialty preferred. Actively working towards certification will be considered.
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
    • Information Security System Management Professional (ISSMP).
    • CompTIA Security+, CySA+
  • Associate degree in Computer Science with a security emphasis or in an equivalent area of specialty is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field or related area.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Analyst or Security Engineer.
  • Exposure to security investigations / forensics processes.
