Our Inside Sales Account Manager s work directly with clients, building strong relationships and identifying growth opportunities. You will be on the front lines of our business, promoting and selling our products and gathering valuable market intelligence data on our competitors. It's a key role with a growing organization.

The role

To be successful in your first six to twelve months in the role you will:

  • Effectively implement a territory growth strategy to achieve revenue and new product objectives.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of company, members, brands, products, programs, and processes to maximize effectiveness.
  • Understand assigned geography, channels, and trade partners to build mutually beneficial customer relationships.


Supporting the delivery of the above will require these supporting objectives:
  • Sales and New Product Performance
    • Secure sales and display orders with accounts
    • Set accurate sales forecast targets with accounts
  • Organization Knowledge
    • Product & program knowledge
    • Consistently complete all required sales and technical training
    • Effectively execute all HHT sales methods including Profit Playbook and Miller Heiman , and Scout
    • Forecasting
    • Compile market intelligence to maximize performance; utilizing Geopointe and Leads reports.
    • Provide competitive product, pricing, and program information to internal cross-functional teams
  • Relationship Building
    • Earn trust of trade partners by listening actively, providing hearth expertise, and following through reliably.
    • Provide outside-in feedback to internal members to improve market share.


Position Requirements
  • This position requires a four-year degree or equivalent amount of education and experience.
  • Customer Service and /or Inside Sales experience preferred.
  • SalesForce .com experience preferred.
  • Must work effectively with cross functional groups.
  • Must be self-motivated with a strong results orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ideal candidates will have at least two years in the hearth products or related industry experience
