Position Purpose:
Assists with all major areas of Human Resources including recruitment, employee relations, safety, training, communications, benefits administration, compensation, and policy and administration.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for all administrative duties related to hourly and salary benefit programs. Communicates changes, coordinates documentation, investigates issues, and initiates problem resolutions.
Responsible for the plant's recruitment requirements. Coordination of onboarding process; required testing, reference checks, and post-offer drug screens.
Coordinates and conducts new employee orientation. Maintains personnel files on new employees to include HR record keeping requirements, applications, position profiles, and other pertinent information as required. Assists with the development and implementation of the plant Affirmative Action Program.
Processes scheduled increases and other personnel actions as required.
Assists as needed with departmental and/or plant issues as assigned by the HR Manager.

Education and Training
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Degree in Business or HR Certification preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced office environment required.
Experience in hourly recruiting, interviewing, and screening.
Previous payroll processing experience preferred.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
