Martin Marietta seeks an intern for our Human Resources team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about learning new skills and who possess a high drive to success and excellence. The team is open to a flexible work schedule to accommodate the right candidate's availability. This role is not remote and candidates will be expected to come into the office on their scheduled work days.

Position Requirements:

  • Business Management major with Human Resources concentration (minimum 3.0 GPA)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, including internal customers and peers
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Willingness to confidently ask questions and take on new challenges
  • Perform all activities in accordance with the Company's Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company's policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct
  • Strong computer skills
  • Transform data into information, information into insights, and insights into value creation
Position Responsibilities:
  • Managing the Leave of Absence process in accordance with Martin Marietta's policy
  • Gain familiarity with the pre-employment process for all incoming Martin Marietta employees
  • Lead and coordinate New Hire Orientation on a Monthly basis
  • Coordinate internal offer letters
  • Collaborate with HR Teams: Compensation, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Benefits
