Overview

Participates in the recruiting and onboarding process for all new associates. This position pays at a rate of $11.75/hour and will start in early January.
Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
Responsibilities
During this internship, you will experience several facets of HR at Kings Island including:
- Screen applications, verify requirements, and schedule interviews
- Conduct virtual interviews for all seasonal positions
- Assist with the onboarding process post-hire including background checks, new hire paperwork, and coordinating training appointments
- Process new associates by collecting I-9 documentation and ensuring compliance
- Assist associates with general HR related questions and concerns
- Issue uniforms, name tags, ID's, and complimentary tickets
- Other duties may be assigned
