Think good data drives good decisions? We do too. The Novelis Procurement Transformation team is seeking a Procurement Lead, Data Analytics and Insights. The person in this role will report to the VP, Procurement Transformation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and improving our Spend Intelligence platform and stewarding the company's data analytics roadmap. The jobholder leads the strategy and execution for Procurement analytics by providing solutions that allow raw data to be transformed into business insights by the global Procurement organization. These insights are used to enhance strategic planning and decision-making, drive cost savings, mitigate supplier risk, and gain a better understanding of Procurement operations. This is a critical role that interacts with the highest levels of the global Procurement organization.
Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Spend Intelligence solution that provides comprehensive and standardized Procurement reporting across 15 enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Collaborate with IT to determine effective and sustainable solutions for consolidating this data into digestible and insightful reports.
  • Develop strategy and roadmap for continued report enhancements and for the development of new reports.
  • Develop training materials and lead classes to insure broad user adoption.
  • Oversee development of high quality, value-add Procurement reports and dashboards in Power BI, while supporting users to create ad-hoc reports.
  • Engage with leaders and stakeholders across Procurement, IT, and, as necessary, other functions such as Accounting to understand end user requirements, develop and document detailed business rules and specification documents, and implement high-quality solutions for deriving data-driven decisions.
  • As needed, the jobholder will engage the executive team, regional presidents, and functional management to gain alignment and execute plans in a dynamic environment.
  • Work with SMEs to help identify cost reduction opportunities, share results, and monitor progress in order to achieve incremental cost savings for ROI of PSI solution.
  • Establish KPIs, plans, and tracking mechanism to measure Procurement performance beyond savings.
  • Implement and maintain Spend Intel SharePoint site to communicate report updates, user success stories, support documentation, savings, Procurement KPIs, and other applicable news.
  • Develop global communication and cadence for release notes to make users aware of Spend Intel updates and enhancements.
  • Additional responsibilities, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience within a procurement environment involved with change management and leading projects.
  • 2-3 years of experience with ERP and large data manipulation.
  • Strong executive presence and written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced degree may be helpful, but is not required.
  • Agile project management abilities.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Oracle, Informatica, or similar systems.
  • Prior experience working with back-end ERP systems development.

Travel:
  • Up to 20% with the ability to travel globally on an ad-hoc basis.
