AstraZeneca is aiming to help create a safer future for all and sustaining long term COVID disease control. Opportunities to develop and implement brand strategies, marketing and promotional campaigns, market access and patient services programs, and support medical and policy program development and other critical needs are being identified across our global and local marketing company teams.

This role can be based in either Wilmington, DE, Gaithersburg, MD or Cambridge, UK

What you'll do

  • Coordinating the roll out of innovative global initiatives / projects with focus on the top 8 to 12 markets
  • Engaging with the local marketing teams to ensure a flawless and aligned execution of the promotional plan
  • Engaging with key external experts to gather input to inform the promotional strategy and activities plan including advocacy development
  • Lead selected initiatives and content development ensuring continued consistency across the long-acting antibody strategy
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including medical, access, commercial excellence, insights, policy and communications to align input into global commercial activity, highlighting risks and uncertainties and proposing solutions and mitigation plans.
  • Contribute to an outstanding organization culture to become a respected leader in pharmaceutical industry while encouraging an inclusive high-performance environment that values diversity.
  • Support to deliver the commercial brand strategy and positioning for COVID-19 products, including unbranded campaign delivery, payer/access, supply strategy to achieve patient and business goals and objectives.
  • Implement/execute pre-launch and launch activities for long-acting antibodies to drive and deliver global launch performance across markets, as point of contact in global brand team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required with scientific experience
  • 5+ years of Pharmaceutical or Healthcare experience
  • 5+ years of Experience in Marketing
  • Successful product launch experience
  • Demonstrated influencing skills and stakeholder management
  • Experienced and comfortable working in a matrix environment
  • Understanding of, and adaptable to, working across different countries and cultures
  • Experience managing and engaging with teams remotely
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills, demonstrating flexibility and a proven ability to deal with complexity under high intensity and time pressure situations
  • Experience and effectiveness in the presentation of written and verbal business cases to the senior management
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • A flexible, team orientated attitude, willing to contribute one's own skills to deliver AZ priority
projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred
  • Vaccines and Infectious Disease knowledge are preferred
