GHD has an immediate opportunity for the newly-created position of Global Head of Storytelling. This exciting role blends creative, narrative, data-based storytelling, and design to deliver GHD's brand story in new and memorable ways. The Global Head of Storytelling will focus on cultivating a deep understanding of GHD's differentiated value proposition, our people, our clients, and our mission. You will pull that understanding into well researched points of view around how GHD's expertise deliver value across various themes, market sectors, and business imperatives.

The Global Head of Storytelling will:

• Develop unique "narratives" for each market sector and client experience that curates and customizes the GHD story for a particular audience.
• Provide leadership in the creation of brand-building ideas across several mediums with the opportunity to build upon our established brand and evolve our messaging in new and exciting ways. Oversee the creation & development of creative assets.
• Act as the owner of creative, empowering ideas that stretch across the client journey, as well as an indispensable resource bringing creative results that strengthen our brand and drive revenue growth.
• Create stories in multiple mediums, including but not limited to photography, video, and written narrative. Subject matter expertise in climate action, water security, ESG, sustainability, and resilience are required.
• Direct; deliver clear creative direction to your reports, internal agencies to fulfill your vision.
• Build, lead & inspire a team of 20+ creative professionals. Set clear objectives, KPI's and overall success measures.
• Create; you will often be hands-on (ability to be in the weeds or at 30,000 feet when needed) with creative ideation, as well as leading the existing creative team, and take full ownership of creative work from concept through execution.
• Conceptualize, write, and edit persuasive copy for cross-channel campaign assets, including video/motion graphics, infographics, web copy, social media, and email.
• Source compelling stories that help define GHD's value proposition, people, clients and mission and deciding the best and most compelling medium in which to bring them to life.
• Work closely with subject matter experts across the company to build on their expertise and drive consensus. This position is highly matrixed, collaboration and organizational agility are important characteristics of this role.

This position requires the following experience and knowledge:

• Undergraduate degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Strong portfolio of award-winning brand/marketing campaigns where you were the lead storyteller.
• Demonstrates knowledge and a proven record of success in the following areas: climate action, water security, ESG, sustainability, and resilience.
• Ability to synthesize components into a cohesive narrative with differentiated messaging and powerful storytelling.
• Extraordinary communication and presentation skills, ability to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organization.
• Skilled at navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapidly changing environment - with nuances for a variety of audiences
• Ability to write compelling copy, edit photos, and film and edit video.
• Wild creativity but paired with practical sensibilities and a knack for strategy.
• Strong executive presence and ability to collaborate with and influence senior executives, business development teams and market sector leaders.
• Excellent communicator and coalition builder; knows how to build organizational support, collaboration and credibility across multiple functions within the organization. -
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator will be a strong differentiator.
