Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst

Job Location: Hershey, PA

This position is open for 100% remote

Summary:

This role acts as a business partner to cross-functional stakeholder across the Hershey (i.e., Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR, IS, Strategy, etc.) throughout the annual planning process, and on a day-to-day basis. Strong analytical skills, insights generation and the ability to influence are fundamental skills needed to drive the best business & investment choices. This role will also assist in the preparation of standard reporting of actual results, forecast / outlook updates, and Annual Plan / Quarterly Business Updates. Strong leadership skills and solid understanding of the P&L are required. This role will influence across various teams and functions to appropriately challenge assumptions, build strong business cases and ensure financial viability in decision making.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

  • The individual will have responsibility for Finance business partnership across the multifunctional organization, which includes short and long-term P/(L) management, investment optimization, enabling delivery of financial commitments.
  • Develop financial modeling and conduct necessary analytics and insights creation to support decision making and operational objectives.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed, acting as the Finance representative on larger teams.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

  • Strong financial reporting and analysis experience
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, incl. pivot tables and large data manipulation
  • Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, or other data visualization tool(s)
  • Ability to work and manage deadlines (weekly and monthly) in a fast-paced environment
  • BA/BS Degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business. Master's degree not required (but can be useful/favorable)
  • 3 years of experience in a related field.

Preferred knowledge, skills:

  • Prior CPG experience
  • Prior M&A experience
  • SAP experience
  • Advanced analytics / predictive analytics
