Summary
Provide project coordination, management, and subcontractor scheduling. May oversee single or multiple projects as required. Responsible for ensuring the goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and profitability by performing the following duties personally and through assigned team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide team leadership necessary to execute protection and controls projects according to the specified scope of work. Oversight will include all phases of the project from initial site contact and data gathering efforts to review of the final technical report and billing.
Balance project tasks between available resources and skill levels, conduct initial project kick off meeting with entire team, identifying project challenges and solutions
Track each assigned project, providing regularly scheduled updates for the team and customer
Track to resolution outstanding issues within project timelines and customer expectations
Reviews results of engineering evaluation reports and coordinates engineering team efforts with the customer's outage schedule to implement necessary system changes or upgrades, avoiding unplanned outages.
Assists administrative team members with creation of project, purchase order entry, billing, and project closeout.
Provide single point of contact for protection and control related projects as necessary.
Coordinate final report review with the sales engineers, providing pull through sales support
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of five years' experience in Project, Construction, or Facilities Management
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, AutoCAD, Oracle.
Required work in a service center or field environment, including extensive computer and telephone use.
Must be able to clearly communicate with clients and employees, both verbally and in writing.
