Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a highly qualified English Skills Training Lead to support a large-scale Rotary Wing Aviation Training Program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Manages the Instruction of General and Specialized English classes utilizing the American Language Course (ALC) for General English classes to facilitate successful accomplishment of IMS entry into technical/professional training.
  • Develops and oversees the utilization of a 12-week specialized Program of instruction (POI) for Aviation English for Pilots
  • Develops and oversees the utilization of a 12-week specialized Program of instruction (POI) for Maintenance Technicians.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Experience:
  • Three (3) years or more current experience managing an English as a Second Language training program (preferably in an Aviation based training organization)
Education:
  • Possess a 4-year degree that includes OR is supplemented by a major study in English as a Second Language (ESL), English as a Foreign Language (EFL), Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). (The 4-year degree must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education)
  • Completion of the Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC)'s Familiarization with the American Language Course (ALC) or Observer Professional Training.
