Hybrid Schedule: Our Marlborough team has transitioned back to working in the office on a regular hybrid schedule. At present, most team members are expected in the office an average of five(5) days a week. Decisions regarding any changes to our hybrid schedule will be communicated as we continue to closely monitor COVID-19 with employee safety is our priority.

Helen of Troy's internship is a 10-week program (June 2023-August 2023), which requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. We empower our interns with opportunities to work on business challenges aligned to your educational goals! You will have the opportunity to network with executives, give back through planned community events and participate in fun social events with your intern peers. Your peers and managers will support and improve your leadership skills and experience.

What you will be doing:

  • Engineering: Interns will work with Engineering Leads developing Product Requirements, Protocols, Test Equipment, and Reports.
  • Regulatory: Interns will have exposure to class II medical devices and worldwide regulatory requirements.
  • Schedules and timelines: The Review/Prepare Schedules and timelines. Follow up on key dates and activities. Participation in planning meetings and follow up with multi-functional teams as well as outside vendors and inventors' specific activities. Interns will learn how to create, manage and follow-up on project schedules and learn skills to manage expectations with different organizations.
  • Executive Reviews: Work on formal presentations with Marketing personnel for Executive Management meetings. Interns will learn how projects are prepared both financially and technically and reviewed in a formal setting with executive committees.
  • Other: Candidates will get a wide range of exposure on a global scale developing new business opportunities for Helen of Troy. This will require creative thinking and involvement with global teams.
  • Coaching, mentorship, and professional guidance from expert performers and leaders.
  • After the internship and graduation, consideration for career opportunities at various locations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Full-Time undergraduate or graduate student (Must be at least a rising Sophomore of a four-year degree program)
  • Major / field of study related to applicable internship (i.e. Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
