RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, an American multinational healthcare technology company that manufactures medication management systems, is currently seeking an Engineer IV - Software Applications for a remote opportunity. Candidates throughout the US are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:

• Engineer IV will work as part of a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
• Provide technical leadership for the architecture, design, and implementation of company software solutions
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Lead discussions and estimations required for product release planning
• Engineer IV will collaborate with software quality engineers in all phases of testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional team on documentation and training
• Conduct code reviews for fellow team members, as required
• Create unit tests to help ensure code quality throughout the application's life cycle
• Understand how company solutions meet our customers' needs and how our suite of products are used across the continuum of care
• Engineer IV grows and mentors other engineers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or other Science/Engineering field preferred; May consider relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
• 8+ years hands-on experience in software development with a degree; 12+ years of hands-on experience in software development in lieu of a degree
• Demonstrated experience in software architecture and design
• Demonstrated software leadership experience in an agile environment
• Expert level knowledge of C# and Angular
• Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5
• Knowledge of developing and deploying WebAPI RESTful services, Cloud Platform, Windows Service and Desktop applications
• Moderate SQL skills
• AWS and/or Azure experience
• Expertise in Object oriented analysis, design, and programming (OOAD, OOP)
• Expertise in Using design and refactoring patterns
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle management
• Proficient in distributed source code control like Git
• Understanding of Internationalization/Localization

Preferred Qualifications:

• M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other engineering fields of study
• Healthcare or Medical Device software development experience
• Understanding of Inventory/warehouse management
