RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, an American multinational healthcare technology company that manufactures medication management systems, is currently seeking an Engineer II - Software Applications for a remote opportunity. Candidates throughout the US are encouraged to apply.Summary:In this role, the Engineer II will work directly with the product owner to turn user stories into a working C#/.Net production-ready application using object oriented design patterns and practices to develop maintainable code.Responsibilities:

• Engineer II will design and implement high quality and performance client software by leveraging a strong understanding of firmware protocols
• Will be working in a fast paced Agile scrum development environment
• As a Engineer II, candidates will evaluate, review designs and test to determine if software will perform according to requirements and specifications
• Will be responsible to participate in code reviews and use case collaborations
• The Engineer II will collaborate with Quality engineers to guide the integration testing with other company applications

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Computer Science or Equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in software design/development
• Proficiency in C# and Angular coding
• Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Moderate SQL skills
• RESTful API experience
• AWS AND/OR Azure exposure
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with 24/7 application development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Prior experience working in healthcare industry is a plus
• Prior experience with remote monitoring tools is a plus
• Full Software Development Life Cycle knowledge, including Agile development principals
• Familiarity with Microsoft patterns and practices
