Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements company-wide compliance programs related to employment matters
  • Develops reporting and audit procedures to assess the effectiveness of the organization's EEO, affirmative action and diversity programs.
  • Collaborates with and advises human resource staff and business partners on compliance related projects including EEO, affirmative action, and diversity; conducts audits to assess the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local discrimination laws.
  • Reports survey results, statistics, and recommendations for corrective action to management and other appropriate stakeholders
  • Designs and implements company-wide training programs on EEO requirements including instruction on all forms of prohibited discrimination and harassment, as well as affirmative action and diversity initiatives
  • Maintains knowledge of developments, trends, and best practices with employment compliance matters, including federal and state legal and regulatory changes; based on this knowledge, recommends revisions and updates to policies
  • Gathers, compiles, analyzes, and interprets data necessary for external (government) and internal EEO compliance, reporting, and monitoring
  • Provide assistance to business partners, management and legal counsel during audits
  • Maintains confidential records and insures compliance with confidential documents and information.
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years specialized and related work including preparing, implementing or administering affirmative action plans.
  • Expert knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action requirements
  • Ability to prepare and facilitate affirmative action plans
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite), computer hardware and computer servers
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Ability to think analytically and solve problems
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail, demonstrated proficiency in data entry, clear, pleasant speaking voice, good communication skills, pride in appearance and conduct.
  • Meticulous work habits, cooperative and pleasant with coworkers; willingness to work overtime, work independently; follow and give detailed verbal and written instructions; clear understanding of workload distribution and priorities.
