Walmart Connect (WMC) is Walmart's media and advertising platform, uniquely designed to help brands reach hundreds of millions of shoppers across their entire shopping journey, online and in stores. WMC is looking for a seasoned B2B marketer to strategically support a newly created Emerging Sales Department. This role will sit within the larger B2B marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Working in lock step with marketing leadership and the head of Inside sales to craft and execute the annual strategies (project plan, goals, messaging, creative briefs, distribution channels, follow-up activities, and success metrics) that will support the insides sale team in their efforts to drive advertising revenue growth.
- Presenting annual plans for approvals and keeping leadership informed regularly
- Partner with Sales to identify and lead initiatives to drive growth and increased penetration from advertisers targeted by the Inside Sales Team
- Ideate and execute on go to market materials, educating the market on Walmart Connect's value proposition through the execution and management of all marketing programs leveraging various channels
- Assist with ensuring that all new Advertisers have the necessary resources to be educated on the Walmart Connect platform
- Manage, coach and mentor the lead generation team (4 in total) in the qualification of in-bound leads and sales handoff.
- Work with Led Gen team to maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive customer engagement, prospecting and lead generation.
- Contributing to weekly reports to management and critical meetings on behalf of Inside sales marketing
- Nurturing key relationships for crucial collaboration for both strategic inputs and executional support, including executive leadership, sellers, product marketing managers, brand marketers, in-house designers, copywriters, corporate communication, Email marketing, L&D team-- and more
- Working closely with marketing and sales team leaders to identify priorities and make sure your work ladders up to broader business objectives
- Partnering with Brand Marketing and creative teams on marketing collateral executions
Requirements:
- 6+ years experience in providing marketing support for business development or inside sales teams
- Preferred experiences working in digital media B2B ad sales marketing (search and display)
- A proven record of creating and driving:
- successful B2B marketing strategies
- sales enablement plans
- narratives and sales tool creation
- Management/team leadership experience
- Building Marketing strategy from the ground up
- Experience in navigating a high-matrixed organization
- Superlative communications skills, both verbal and written
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 2 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 7 years'
