Horiba Scientific which specializes in scientific instruments has an opening in its Piscataway, New Jersey location for a Mechanical Assembler.

Essential Job Functions:

• Successful Candidates must be able to read CAD drawings and assemble and test mechanical electronical assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates must be able to read drawings and schematics.
• Must have a high degree of mechanical dexterity as well as excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solder electronic components.
• Attention to detail, self-motivation, and computer skills are essentials.

Skills Required:

• Essential functions and responsibilities include building and testing mechanical and electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates must be able to read drawings and schematics.
• Candidate must have a high degree of mechanical dexterity as well as excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solder electronic components.
• Attention to detail, self-motivation, computer skills are essential.
• 2-year degree/certification in electronics or related field/experience preferred.
