Job Description

The GM EV Field Ownership Manager is responsible for facilitating Field and Regional Office employee immersion into the EV Future Retail Model. This role will serve as the subject matter expert and will work to educate the Field Wholesale team and drive toward dealer adoption of the EV Future Retail Model in the area of Service and Ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director - EV Service & Parts, the GM EV Field Ownership Manager will focus on the following:

  • Facilitating Field and Regional Office employee immersion into EV Future Retail Model
  • Educate the Field Wholesale team and assist with dealer adoption of the EV Future Retail Model in the following Service and Ownership areas: Digital Retail Platform - service component sign up, on-boarding, support, measurement
  • EV Dealership charging (e.g. dealership site assessments, charging infrastructure installation)
  • EV Service CX Standards
  • EV Service Readiness (e.g. special tools, training, operating procedures)
  • EV Service programs (e.g. valet and mobile service)
  • Center of Expertise for GM Dealership EV Specialists
  • EVX Standards Consultant
  • Sharing Best Practices
  • Supervise EV Specialist training to maintain 100% compliance in GM training objectives
  • Drive Introduction to Service process during new owner onboarding
  • EV In Market Enhancements
  • Participate in periodic market and dealership visits with divisional Field Teams

Background/Experiences:

5+ years of sales & service experience (multi-discipline, field, corporate):
  • Experience managing cross channel programs
  • Experience interfacing with automotive dealers
  • Strong knowledge of dealer operations (field/fleet experience preferred)
  • Customer Experience focused initiatives
  • Reporting, data and analytics

Other:
  • Knowledgeable of / experience working in the EV ecosystem
  • Project management experience (preference)
