Description: Our client is currently seeking a EHS Specialist in the Buffalo metro area. As an environmental health and safety (EHS) specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental health and safety programs. Your goal will be to ensure that these programs are effective and compliant with all relevant regulations.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing, and managing environmental health and safety programs
- Ensuring that these programs are effective and compliant with all relevant regulations
- Conducting audits and inspections
- Providing training on environmental health and safety topics
- Working with businesses to create safe working conditions.
- Bachelors Degree in Health and safety or related field
- A strong understanding of environmental science
- The ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
