The successful candidate will assist the Domestic Tax team in preparation of federal and state income/franchise tax returns and quarterly tax provision calculations for Teleflex U.S. entities. Basic accounting skills, attention to details, and ability to work as part of a team are necessary for this position.
• Prepare U.S. Federal & State Income and Franchise Tax returns and supporting workpapers.
• Assist in quarterly estimated tax calculations for federal and state taxes and coordinate payment of estimated tax liabilities.
• Assist in preparation of the annual and quarterly tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740.
• Respond to state notices and assist on tax audits.
• Assist with federal & state tax-related projects and research.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related field
• 1-2 years of tax experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Pursuit of CPA is a plus
