Studentfundraisersin the Digital Philanthropy Centerare a critical component to keeping open lines of communication with alumniand friends ofThe University of Cincinnati. Additionally,you'llraise thousands of dollars a year for scholarshipsandUCinitiatives.In this position you will call alumni and donors to solicit their support of UC. Working in our well-equipped call center, you'll receive the training and tools needed to be successful.
This position requires strong verbal communication skills, a problem-solving mentality, the ability to think strategically in a fast-paced environment, and a genuine desire to advance the mission ofthe University of Cincinnati. Serve as an ambassador forthe University of Cincinnatiby discussing Universityinitiatives, accolades, and accomplishments.
Call constituents (alumniand friends) to build personal rapport, update
demographic information, andsecure donationsto theFoundation.Use additional tools such as SMS, email and video to support your outreachefforts.
Work with otherassociatesin a team-oriented environment to achieve goals.
Commit to a minimum ofthree 3-hour shifts(out of six available shifts)per week. The shifttimes are Sunday 2:00to5:00p.m.and Sunday - Thursday 6:00to 9:00p.m.
Competitive wages: Digital Philanthropy Center associateshave a starting wage of$11.00perhour with opportunities for regular raises.
