Stemco is seeking a Digital Marketing & eCommerce Specialist to lead the development and execution of e-commerce, marketing automation and social media programs across the organization. This role will work closely with Marketing leaders, commercial team members, and external vendors. This role will identify, develop, and execute eCommerce strategies, marketing automation, content creation, reporting and system maintenance of the platform and integrations. The Digital Marketing Specialist will coordinate and manage ongoing improvements and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external support vendors to drive the digital vision and strategy for STEMCO.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee eCommerce sites, platforms, systems, administrative consoles, and online customer experience while acting as the day-to-day administrator for the eCommerce platform.
  • Act as a customer advocate; improving the digital ecosystem to create greater customer value.
  • Collaborate with the commercial teams to deliver compelling content that will improve SEO and the online customer experience
  • Develop business justification for site enhancements

  • Develop and improve marketing automation systems and social media strategies in the areas of prospect management, segmentation, content creation, and other foundational areas
  • Have a deep understanding of our customers and inbound/outbound digital marketing channels to deliver breakthrough marketing automation programs
  • Design and develop clear plans for the marketing automation and social media platforms that align with specific objectives and long-term goals
  • Provide valuable insights in the creation of digital marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Design and execute email marketing programs, including segmentation, set-up, testing, deployment, and optimization

  • Create segments for automated marketing campaigns based on criteria defined by industry, buyer personas, behavioral attributes and lead score/account grade
  • Develop and maintain forms and landing pages to enhance conversion of prospects
  • Ensure leads are correctly and efficiently routed to appropriate internal teams
  • Serve as the primary administrator of all social media applications; manage and train users globally
  • Create social content that aligns with business objectives and marketing campaigns with the goal of increasing awareness and user engagement

  • Keep up to date with current social media trends; suggest new ideas to Marketing leadership
  • Follow customer and industry social media accounts to engage in content and respond to inbound inquiries
  • Work closely with Marketing leaders to develop and maintain social calendars across the business
  • Maintain standard integrations between third-party applications and marketing automation instances
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial systems team to improve data integrity and integration between marketing automation platforms and Salesforce.com

  • Perform regular data analysis of program performance to identify areas of opportunity and implement optimizations; provide performance reports to team leaders
  • Stay current with best practices, regulations and industry standards related to email marketing to ensure compliance
  • Contribute to other digital marketing initiatives and responsibilities as needed

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing eCommerce site and marketing automation strategies
  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce, Pardot and HubSpot strongly preferred; Salesforce Certification preferred
  • A solid understanding of how Salesforce works in conjunction with marketing automation platforms
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (required) and global marketing teams (preferred)

  • Ability to work independently and with a team, takes direction well
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities; proven ability to consistently meet project deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to absorb new technology/skills as required
  • Knowledge of email/digital design and campaign best-practices

  • Knowledge of email regulations such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR legislation and ADA requirements
  • Experience in creating email templates; working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Office 365 a plus

Requirements:

  • Preferred Experience: 2+ years of eCommerce and marketing automation experience, ideally Salesforce, Pardot and HubSpot
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum Experience: 1+ years of related work experience
  • Potential travel: Up to 5%
