The Digital Asset Manager will be responsible for managing all workflows related to the processing and organizing of Arhaus’ digital imagery assets. This position will also be an important contributor to special image-related projects critical to the optimization and function of Arhaus.com. The Digital Asset Manager must be highly organized, excited by new technologies, and focused on enhancing and implementing workflows for imagery assets for the entire Marketing organization.

Core Job Functions

  • Manage the workflow processes and archiving rules for all image assets for the marketing department
  • Serve as an expert in working with metadata, taxonomy, digital rights, search facets, and web-publishing processes.
  • Evaluate current solutions for eCommerce image initiatives such as product draping and site transformation projects and identify and source potential new recommendations.
  • Prioritize tasks, develop project timelines and budgets to execute image-related projects for Arhaus.com.
  • Track all digital asset projects and report status and timeline updates to broader teams.
  • Delegate and manage tasks within the Digital Asset team
  • Collaborate with internal departments in the development and modification of digital workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Stay up to date on the newest digital asset management and workflow technologies.
  • Identify supporting tools for best file management practices and process adoption.
  • Act as the main point of contact and project manager for image authoring/draping-related projects. Assist, when needed, in performing draping tasks such as creating fabric tiles, organizing and maintaining all assets within Scene7 or other platforms, and coordinating the delivery of assets with a third-party vendor.
  • Aid in cropping the new product and campaign imagery and loading to Arhaus.com platforms to launch in tandem with marketing campaign initiatives.
  • Aid in actively auditing and maintaining online eCommerce imagery to ensure current photo standards are in place and seasonal campaigns and imagery are up to date.
  • Work closely with the Ecommerce team to perform analytic-driven enhancements on product detail pages regarding image sorting and selection with a “user-first” mentality.
  • Work closely with website Art Director, Photography, and Retouching managers to ensure photo image standards are carried through to the online experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in content management or digital asset management.
  • Technical training in graphic arts, photography, computer science, or content creation.
  • Solid understanding of file formats, metadata standards, and asset organization best practices.
  • Extremely well organized in structuring, maintaining, transferring, and storing files.
  • Ability to quickly and proactively learn or adapt to proprietary tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset for resolving issues and driving for streamlined efficiency.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a passionate commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and remain organized.
  • Hardworking, positive attitude, and passion for the job.
  • Knowledge of structured content standards (Metadata, Tagging).
  • Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and knowledge of Adobe Bridge and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Scene 7, Azure, and 3D digital programs is a plus.
  • Experience with a Digital Asset Management platform and Shopify is a plus.
  • Experience working within a digital creative team supporting an eCommerce site.
