The opportunity

Altus Group is currently looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our Houston office. You will support quarterly valuation management engagements, including data extraction and administrative functions (scheduling, invoicing, setting up clients in internal systems and supporting the quarterly valuation process).

What you will do:

  • Resolve inquiries. You will rapidly come up to speed on our products and services to respond to and prioritize client support requests via phone, chat, and email by delivering exceptional service according to our quality guidelines. You will log and track the details and maintain the resolution database.

  • Champion the customer. You will build strong working relationships with Customer Support and Customer Success to provide meaningful customer feedback and to support renewals and expansion opportunities.

You will have:
  • The education and experience. You have a Bachelor's degree and work experience in customer success or customer service, preferably in a SaaS or CRE company. You can manage and prioritize competing inbound customer requests via multiple channels (e.g., chat, phone, email). You are service-oriented and a proactive problem-solver who's always thinking creatively and strategically.

  • The communication skills. You are concise, on point and effective. You can relay and translate complex requirements and technical details to a nontechnical audience. You can expertly navigate challenging situations with empathy.
