A Financial Services Company is seeking a CT&O Risk Manager - SR Project Manager - Risk, Cyber) in Charlotte, NC.

Role Description

• Create, document, and implement governance routines, where necessary
• Analyze and develop processes and procedures
• Lead and participate in cross-functional and/or enterprise technology risk management initiatives
• Create and implement workflow tracking to better manage deliverables
• Apply in-depth understanding of technology governance, risk, and compliance to provide thought leadership and guidance to CT&O stakeholders
• Responsibility for CT&O regulatory exam management and issue management activities (including request tracking, coordination and drafting of responses, and issue analysis)

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and six years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience to include general business management, consulting-type work, or other disciplines related to risk management and technology
• In-depth and broad knowledge of IT governance processes and risk management skills
• Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges, and apply best practices to improve processes, policies and standards. Ability to lead projects and execute judgment in solving problems of significant complexity and risk exposure
• Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize deliverables in accordance with business needs
• Experience in regulatory engagement and issue management
• Executive level communication skills, including negotiation, persuasion, and ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective and handle interpersonal issues with tact and diplomacy
• Education Requirements: BA Required

• 8+ years of related experience in governance, risk & compliance
• Excellent leadership skills
• Ability to navigate and effectively handle ambiguity
• Analytical and organizational skills
• COBIT Training & Certifications
• Project Management experience
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Certification in an audit and/or risk management discipline
