Merakey is currently seeking a Corporate Director of Accounts Receivable. The successful candidate will report directly to the Corporate Senior Director of Business Operations and will be based out of our office in either Harrisburg or Erdenheim, PA.

The Corporate Director of AR will oversee up to four managerial staff (Billing and AR) and their teams totaling approximately 30 staff.

Position Summary

This position will manage and unify all service line back-end revenue cycle functions across accounts receivable under one direct leadership. Additionally, the position will support the various research work needed to ensure timely and accurate payment receipt of new business markets and funding sources. The position will ensure standardization of all processes, implement best practices to obtain the goals of the organization and high overall collection rates.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred.

• Ten plus years' experience dealing with high volume accounts receivable management.

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to provide excellent customer service, relationship management and strong communication skills (written and verbal).

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate with other departments to resolve minor or complex issues resulting in no loss of revenue or developing process improvements.

• Ability to effectively document situations and analyze situations, develop proposals and communications to multiple levels within an organization.

• Project management experience, and the proven ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities.

• Experience in training, coaching and directing less experienced staff, including indirect reports and cross functional partners.

• Acts as a single point of accountability for accounts receivable performance and improvement opportunities.

• Proven ability to think outside the box to obtain desired results.

• Available for start time fluctuation to cover early morning meetings, late day meetings or working additional hours as required.

• Identify, correct, and optimize the processes and systems that lead to lost revenue opportunities.

• Develop plans to assists department managerial staff in maintaining adequate staffing levels based on revenue and other departmental metrics that should be defined.

• Demonstration of outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity and passion to excel.

• Demonstrated ability to constructively challenge established ways of doing things to lead improvement and change.
