About the role

The role of the HR Coordinator in a Gap Inc. distribution or call center environment places you as the primary contact for all payroll, benefits and HRIS systems. As an HR Coordinator you will provide front line HR customer service to all employees and business partners. The HR Coordinator will develop and maintain HR reporting to show key people metrics and trends.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Prepare weekly payroll balancing file and adjustments/accuracies and run weekly payroll
  • Serve as primary Kronos contact for business. Resolve payroll issues, process exceptions each week & manage payroll mailbox
  • Provide GapWeb support for employees (benefits, paychecks, profile updates, etc.)
  • Maintain employee files for the facility by filing, organizing and purging all HR files on schedule – adhering to all compliance & regulations of record retention
  • Facilitate NEO benefits presentation (rotate with others as needed)
  • Ensure all HRIS administration is accurate through PSFT/ADMIN/Kronos paperwork
  • Process Job Data Change forms (change in job, change in pay, etc.)
  • Run queries and reports for business partners, using Employee ID and Kronos
  • Identify opportunities to improve practices, mitigate risk, optimize technology and present recommendations to supervisor
  • Assist with projects relating to all areas of HR (Employee Relations, Talent Attraction, Comp/Benefits, etc)

Who you are

WHO YOU ARE:

  • BA/BS, preferably in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent HR experience
  • 1+ years Human Resources or equivalent experience preferred
  • Distribution/Manufacturing environment experience preferred
  • Effective organizational & time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment while switching from one task to another frequently and prioritize work
  • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
  • Flexible to work variable hours and days (including weekends as needed)
  • PC Skills: Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, Access and / or other software / database skills
